The Friends of the Patoka River NWR need your support. Funds raised by the Friends of the Patoka help develop awareness about the Refuge, provide educational programming and improve the visitor experience at the Refuge. Membership in the Friends of the Patoka River NWR is intentionally inexpensive to encourage people to join. We want more Friends!

Box Turtle - $30/year River Otter - $50/year Wood Duck - $100/year* Eagle - $500* *Friends who join at this level or above receive a free Friends of the Patoka lapel pin! Residents from throughout the region volunteer in a variety of roles to assist the Refuge Manager and staff. If you have an interest in helping with activities such as wildlife monitoring, trail maintenance, fundraising or presenting educational programs - and meeting others who do - please visit our Contact Us page!
