Bill McCoy, the Refuge Manager at Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge in Oakland City, retired on March 31st after a 48-year career with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. He has spent the last 28 years here at Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge in Pike and Gibson Counties where he served as the Refuge’s first and only Refuge Manager.
Please come join us on Saturday, April 21 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Central Time at Wirth Park Community Center in Oakland City, Indiana to celebrate Bill’s career and wish him an active and happy retirement. A presentation highlighting Bill’s career will start at 1:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge and Management Area.
